Grounded in a solid foundation of compositional techniques; from contemporary classical to jazz, rock, and experimental forms, Diego adapts his writing to a wide range of artistic contexts, from concert music to multimedia and live performance.
As a musical director, he brings clarity and coherence to complex works, guiding ensembles with both creativity and leadership. While his primary instrument is the electric guitar, Diego is a multi-instrumentalist musician and also serves as his own producer and audio engineer, backed by his academic training in audio engineering. This unique combination of roles allows him to oversee the full creative process with artistic integrity, from the initial idea to the final mix.

At the core of Diego’s research is a desire to make complex musical ideas accessible and applicable beyond academic boundaries. For over two years, he has been developing a long-term project centered on generative music and music analysis, aiming to redefine foundational musical concepts and construct a tangible framework for the phenomenological study of music.
This work not only deepens our understanding of how music is experienced and constructed, but also creates practical tools for composers, performers, and listeners to engage with music in more meaningful ways.
