Semblance

Diego Avgarde’s musical journey began in 2010, and he has since established himself as a skilled musician, composer, producer, teacher, and researcher. His extensive background includes studies in harmony, composition, and acoustics.

He is currently a graduate student in electric guitar and composition, specializing in virtuoso technical and stylistic approaches at The Contemporary Music School, and is in his final year of a second degree in musical composition at Universidad Panamericana. For the past four years, he has also served as a university-level instructor at The Contemporary Music School, where he co-owns a music studio.

His passion for innovation extends to the development of new techniques and theories in applied mathematics for music composition, analysis, and comprehension. He has successfully implemented these techniques in his classes, expanding and accelerating the pedagogical process for his students. He also served as head of acoustic physics and vector geometry at the ORFREC cabinet in collaboration with René Vaderi.

A versatile composer and producer, Diego has explored a wide range of musical styles. His main project, Intuitum, is a fusion-jazz orchestra with nearly three years of trajectory that has built a solid audience and performed in renowned theaters and venues across Mexico City.

His ultimate aspiration is to explore and create new compositional approaches, music-acoustics theories, and teaching methodologies, while continuing to perform his own works.
